Here's some words from the man himself: 'Someone described my music as a grunge-y cuddle a few years ago and I have just decided to run with it. I feel like it sums up what I am trying to do nicely. I like dark music. Music you can listen to on your own at night and just stare out of the window to. Equally though, I want my music to have the same feeling as spending a night with your mate, talking it all through and just feeling lighter at the end of it. Lyrically I work hard to try and say something that I can stand by or that I feel has a good feeling to it. It's not always negative but I do find songwriting a great way to process the negative stuff and then move on. So, yeah, I make grunge cuddles.'
