Yorkshire born musician Guy Connor originally came to Manchester as guitarist of rock band The Paris Riots, which enjoyed much success in the UK & Europe. After the band’s eventual demise, Guy then went on to form the Post Punk duo 'Giant Boys' with Paris Riots drummer Scottie Mcknight in 2017. Since then Giant Boys have released numerous singles & Eps to high acclaim, including that of BBC 6’s Tom Robinson.
After releasing their last EP 'Click & Collect' in early 2020, Giant Boys went on hiatus and Guy released his first solo album 'Someone You'd Leave Me For' that same year. This was a clear departure from the heavy & raw sound of Giant Boys, with a set of songs influenced by Alt country, Americana & Soul. He has since continued to put out new solo material in the form of live films throughout 2021, and is now set to release an Ep of unheard tracks from his debut entitled ‘Off-cuts’ next month.
