Today, our guest is Daniel Edozie, a professional basketballer who captains Bristol Flyers in the British Basketball League.
Firstly, Daniel talks about his emotional journey into basketball, where he was homeless and at the risk of deportation as a teenager. Daniel explains how he would take long bus journeys to stay warm and walk endless hours to find food in Skid Row, which is well-renowned for its large population of homeless people in California. Daniel then speaks about the turning point where a foster family took him in and then found his love for basketball. Finally, Daniel talks about his time at college where he played alongside Monte Morris of the Denver Nuggets at Iowa State and his subsequent move to play professionally at Bristol Flyers in this inspirational episode.
