Description

One of the very first perimenopause symptoms I experienced was the inability to digest and process food groups that I had been perfectly OK with before. I was experiencing bloating and uncomfortable stomach cramps throughout the day. My joints started to swell and my skin was itchy and red. My research led me to understand that I was ingesting foods that were causing inflammation and this was heightened by a change in my hormones.
