Ep 35 with Head Environmental Technician and Community Advocate for the Seabin Project, eco-ultra runner and owner of BLAEK Store, Tom Batrouney.
It was a privilege to have Tom on the show to discuss his journey as a runner and passion for protecting our natural world. Tom is just a few days out from commencing Project: Run Forever, where he will be running laps around Many Dam in a plight to raise funds and awareness for eco organisations Seabin Project and For Wild Places. As long as he continues to receive donations, Tom will continue to run laps of the 10km Many Dam course.
Tom encourages us to stand with him in solidarity for a future that protects and respects nature, by joining in running or donating to the cause. The funds will be making a real impact, split between two critical land and ocean based environmental groups.
Project Run Forever is taking place at 7am April 8th, Manly Dam. We discuss all the details of the even in the podcast, as well as more about Seabin and the work they do. If you want to get involved you can check out the event details above or reach out to Tom on his instagram @tbphotog Let us know what you think of this ep, and we hope to see you in Manly supporting Tom and Project: Run Forever.
