Narcissism is more than just being self absorbed and self confident, it's being excessively self involved without any concern for other's needs, feelings and emotions, it involves feelings of grandiose those the person is vulnerable maybe as a result of childhood neglect or Marginalized expectations on them. It is rare for the individual to know the effect of their behavior on others.
