Affirmations are simply declarations or pronouncements of a belief. If you believe that you will have a good day. To affirm that is to say, ‘I’m going to have a good day’. And if you believe that you’re going to falter in pursuit of a goal, you may say, “This is going to be a pain in my patushka.” Psychology Today writes that “there is value in positive affirmations, in that our subconscious mind plays a major role in the actualization of our lives and the manifestation of our desires. In other words, what we believe about ourselves at a subconscious level, can have a significant impact on the outcome of events. I know. Interesting stuff. Professionals believe that when your ears hear your voice, your mind gets into gear.
