In the age of modernization, cutting-edge technologies seem to make enormous contributions to the medical field. However, traditional Chinese medicine also plays a significant role, especially when integrated with high-tech or Western treatment methods. In this episode, Christine Yen, who earned her Bachelor’s degree at Western Sydney University in Chinese medicine and is currently working as a registered practitioner with the Australia Health Practitioner regulation abroad, shares her view of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Besides talking about her experience of studying TCM in Australia, Christine also discusses her work on clinical practice and the application of TCM, along with the integration of TCM and Western medical techniques.
