Heather Girardi is an actor. She has some great stories about working as an actor through the pandemic, but today we are going to focus on how she has worked through, and still recovers, as a child of alcoholics, growing up in an alcoholic family. It’s a story that many many people can relate to, and her hope is that some of her ways of coping can help others who are in similar situations in their lives. Giving voice to these stories of resilience is another way of building a virtual supportive community. I’m so grateful to Heather to be willing to share this most personal journey.
