Hi everyone and welcome to Showing Up 2.0! We’ve taken a few weeks off to reflect on our content so far, and we’ve decided to have a little shuffle. Dedicated to trying new things and pushing ourselves to be more present, we will still be taking up a new challenge every month but you can hear all about this once a month as a fun little bonus episode. As a result, our weekly episodes will consist of talking more about the things we love and topics that interest and inspire us in a much more relaxed and freeform style. This week we catch up on how we’ve been the last few weeks, and what we’ve been up to. Eve raves about British horror Saint Maud (2019), and BBC Three’s recent bout of celebrity documentaries, specifically Zara McDermott: Revenge Porn (2021). We also both take a trip down memory lane remembering our emo glory days as Eve discusses Hayley William’s new solo album FLOWERS for VASES/descansos (2021).
