90% of rape and sexual assault victims are women.
All kind of unwanted sexual advances happen to women far more than we like to admit. At times it may feel like an accident - they didn't really "mean it", or perhaps you were in the wrong place at the wrong time, or maybe it's boys will be boys?
It's never OK.
The problem is, until someone can develop the skills of empathy or go through an experience themselves, they can't relate to what you go through.
This is where I see a huge flaw in men being the predominate sex in governments and leadership positions, making decisions and laws despite not having a clue about the female experience.
So I found it interesting when a male friend had a taste of the experience and I wanted to get him on the show to chat about it.
He also brought up important points about the fact that we need to give men the space to grow and heal in order to NOT be the type of person who can't hear the word NO.
