Pope Francis is in the news for condemning capitalism, and people on both sides of the political spectrum are reacting exactly as I expected. This is expected, but no less disappointing. It's nice of the pope to say, but what is his actually action plan to address this? Are he and the Catholic Church about to embark on a bold worldwide campaign against capitalism? Or are these just more words and platitudes meant to make people feel good for a bit?
