Sorry the video is late, I've been very busy with work and a side project. So about a week ago, Justin Trudeau said “What happens in the United States is going to be impacting Canada after the election, but our job is to be ready for all outcomes." He then went on to add “We’re certainly all hoping for a smooth transition or a clear result from the election, like many people are around the world. If it is less clear, there may be some disruptions and we need to be ready for any outcomes. I think that’s what Canadians would expect of their governments and we’re certainly reflecting on that.”

So what are these preparations? What are the contingencies that are being considered? But of course, no one thought to ask apparently. While I get that some plans might need to remain secret and hidden from the populace, Canadians have a right to know what the government is planning so that we can prepare ourselves and offer support or criticism. But instead, this story flew completely under the radar and that bothers me.
