DANCE, DOROTHY, DANCE has returned!! Marc Heuck and B, now recording together live from LA, are going through every Dorothy Arzner-directed film, whether she got official credit for it or not! Today's film is BEHIND THE MAKE-UP, the 1930 Robert Milton film for which Arzner offered co-direction, and received no credit in return. Hal Skelly, William Powell and Fay Wray star in what is essentially an inferior male predecessor to DANCE, GIRL, DANCE, where two performers with different artistic goals try and work together to achieve success.
