Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell is a registered psychotherapist, certified music therapist, and assistant professor at Wilfrid Laurier University where she coordinates the Bachelor of Music Therapy program. Liz has extensive experience bringing music-centered music therapy practices to mental health treatment settings with individuals of all ages and is curious about the connections between music therapy and other musical-relational practices. Laurier’s Faculty of Music has appointed Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell to a tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor in Music Therapy effective July 1, 2021.
