Recipe for Two Layer Chocolate Fruit Bites:
Layer 1:
1/ cup oats
1 cup medjool dates
3/4 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Blend oats, dates, cocoa powder and nuts in food processor until combined. Mixture should be sticky. If not, add more dates. Press into a 10 x 7 inch dish.
Layer 2:
1 banana
4 Tablespoons almond butter
3 Tablespoons maple syrup or honey
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Blend the second layer and pour over the date layer.
Topping:
1/2 cup pomegranate arils
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
Sprinkle with seeds and arils and freeze.
