Description

Welcome everyone to another edition of the podcast!

Joining us is the amazing Ron Altbach! A Northern New York native, Altbach has firmly planted his roots in musical history over the last fifty years. Not only is he known for being a founding member of King Harvest, known for their Sherman Kelly-penned hit song "Dancing in the Moonlight", but also being a touring member of both The Beach Boys and Celebration. Although he isn't as active in the music world today, prior to Covid he performed monthly concerts.

In this conversation we talked about growing up in northern New York, Cornell, King Harvest, The Beach Boys, MIU, studying piano in France during the Vietnam War, Celebration, why King Harvest wasn't more successful, the famous Beachago Tour in the 70s, and much more!
