This week, I am headed to the National Association of Black Journalist/ National Association of Hispanic Journalist Conference in Las Vegas. I will be back with guest in a couple of weeks, but on this episode, I reflect on what this conference has met to me starting with Orlando in 2013 which lead me to getting my job at ESPN. Then going to New Orleans and Miami in 2017 and 2019 to expand my network, my net-worth and increasing the awareness of the work I was producing at Johns Hopkins and more.
