Being self employed can be tough. Especially if you are working for yourself, there is no one that forces you to do the work. I mean, well there is a customer (and bills), but you have to force yourself to do the work that isn't fun or that you aren't good at.
When I worked for someone else in my industry, it was a lot easier to get motivated and stay motivated because we had a manager that forced us to stay on task. Now that I am my own manager, I have learned the hard way that motivation is not something you can will into existence.
