The “What ever happen to… ?” I’ve been asked the most over the years is about Teresa Richardson. The Oregon native got to KGW just a few months after me, starting as a weekend weather forecaster, we shared the “News8 at Sunrise” desk together with Nancy Francis, and TR went on to host KGW’s PM Magazine/Good Evening for ten years. Then we lost touch. But she never lost her touch—she’s worked around the west, and has been around the world. She tells a wonderful story of how she met her husband and joined a family of 20+. Her legacy of being Miss Oregon in the early 80s is an interesting exploration of how our culture and her life has changed dramatically. But she looks and sounds the same as the day we met in 1983.
