But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Hebrews 5:14 KJV)

Every Christian should be able to discern good from evil. This gift should grow as we mature in the ways of God. Notice that we are not mature until we develop in discernment. This will not only keep us from being manipulated by the enemy, but it also enables us to be of more use in the Kingdom of God.

There is a trap the enemy lays as we attempt to discern which spirit may be influencing others. Not only will walking into this trap affect you and the authority you wield, it could also hurt the person being afflicted by a demonic spirit.

This chapter will help you do the following:

1. Begin to recognize when the Holy Spirit is granting you discernment.
2. Discover traps the enemy places before you when you are operating in this gift.
3. Find out what to do with the information the Holy Spirit brings.
