And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God, I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy… (Acts 2:17-18 AKJV)
When God poured out His glory in the Book of Acts, right after Jesus ascended, He began with dreams, visions, and prophecy. As it was then, so it is now. The church is coming to a time of persecution but it has begun with a time of the outpouring of His glory. We need to pay attention to our dreams and visions, knowing that some may be prophetic dreams.
Not every dream you have may be about you and your life. Sometimes dreams are about other events in this world:
-- What is happening in the world around you
-- What is happening with someone else
It is important to discover the focus of the dream to know how to apply the information.
