"I believe the children are the future…” these are the opening lyrics of Whitney Houston's evergreen classic, 'The Greatest Love of All', a song celebrating children as beautiful creatures with carefree spirits and innocent smiles which 'steal' the hearts of many.
While the world has witnessed innovation, the pandemic and shifts in life- work dynamics, today’s child face an uncertain future due to climate change, environmental degradation, poverty, innumerable international and civil conflicts, inequality as well as the increase in choices of social vices which threaten to erode their well being.
On this episode of Thinking Reimagined, the children had some of the most interesting things to say in response to the questions posed on “Being a Child". Nifemi Oguntoye (Moderator) speaks with Pearl Oruebor, Noel Oruebor and Babayemi Abiodun on issues such as: bullying, cybercrime, what they think about a being a Nigerian and the future they envision.
