Description

The world finds itself at an inflection point as bias continues to affect how people are perceived and treated thus impeding the attainment of equity, diversity, inclusion, social justice and a sense of belonging.

Whether those biases are conscious or unconscious, they often lead to unfair treatment, depriving millions of access to resources, opportunities, freedom and sources of livelihood to name a few.

Some of these biases, primarily developed at childhood, are borne out of cultural and religious beliefs, making it necessary for everyone to learn, relearn and  unlearn thus changing their mindsets for a better global society.

In this episode of Thinking Reimagined ®️,  Nifemi Oguntoye (Moderator),  Bisi Alimi (Executive Coach, Public Speaker, International Development Consultant & Media Commentator) and Dr. Ama (Founder, Allied Empowerment®️ & Live Abundantly!®️) present their thoughts on the role of awareness and advocacy in 'Breaking the Bias' in communities, workplaces, schools, throughout the society and in the general public sphere.
