Description

Every year, the 30th of July is observed globally as World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. This year’s theme puts victims of human trafficking at the centre of the campaign for human rights and dignity.
On this episode of Thinking Reimagined ®️, Chylian Azuh, Jerry Adelu and Tobi Ayediran join Nifemi Oguntoye and Dr. Ama, Executive Director Live Abundantly ®️ to narrate their first-hand accounts of the attempted illegal journey of Human Trafficking from Nigeria to Europe through and the unceremonial return to Nigeria and the vestibule of stigma, trauma and disillusion.

The process of Reintegration and Rehabilitation is challenging in a country froth with unemployment, poverty, insecurity and disenfranchised youth.

The stories of Human Trafficking survivors offers a unique lens for a better understanding of this menace to humanity and an opportunity for actionable engagement and solutions to addressing the factors which force citizens to take such a risk into the Lion’s Den of trafficking and irregular migration.
