Sustainable and Innovative opportunities heightened by technology and a growing recognition of the economic benefits of women's participation provide much optimism in the business ecosystem. By expanding the channels for trade, export and investment through the elimination of bias and discrimination, we can foster inclusive global economic growth and cooperation.
The factors limiting women's participation range from the lack of robust data on women in business, cultural and systemic biases, societal and government expectations, risk aversion, limited access to financial instruments and technology, as well as, the lack of access to knowledge and skills training.
When stakeholders make conscious efforts to transcend these hindrances to economic participation and development, the potential for mutually beneficial business growth and financial success becomes evident.
