Description

We've all sat there. Excited by the prospect of both growing our "book of business" and helping a small business claim their rightful share of the local market for what they offer. And then they start to share all the horrible things they experienced with their previous SEO company. Our heart sinks for two reasons. 

1 - We know they are going to want us to prove to them over and over that we're not that other agency and

2 - We are likely wasting our time because even if we were to get them to sign on, we'll be defending ourselves because we're not going to provide them with a time card of our hours and likely they are too skittish so we're looking at three (3) months max. 

Nothing we can say or do that can build trust within the meeting - except maybe saying no.
