This whole TRANSGENDER, DRAG QUEENS READING BOOKS TO KIDS,DONT SAY GAY stuff is because CHANGE. Politicians are hitting the LGBTQ community very hard, even going so far as to make laws AGAINST those very people. All of it is because NOBODY wants to embrace change, they want the status quo to stay status quo. If you have a child or teen that may be be gay.....don't disown them, don't throw them away, just listen to them, and support them, because if you do, they will know that what they are is excepted.
