Hello! Welcome to the lucky eight episode of Pints, Camera... Action!
It's back to Graham (Billy) for his second pick of the series, the 2000 Japanese cult classic Battle Royale. Set in a not too distant future, the Japanese government, struggling to maintain order, look for a scapegoat to blame for the crumbling nation. Battle Royale is born where school children are kidnapped to fight for their lives on an island using whatever they can get their hands on to survive (think Hunger Games but with more blood and violence.) All the while on the island, love is in the air... but so are bullets, knives, arrows and questionable decisions.
Featuring Japanese stars such as Takeshi Kitano (yes... Takeshi from Takeshi's Castle!) and Chiaki Kuriyama (Kill Bill), the bloodshed will not disappoint!
All the while the guys check in on Nik's Shark Shack, they discuss the benefits of a sex lighthouse and we all agree that we should really start getting something back when we plug something.
