I'm introducing a new series to the podcast, "In Conversation With..."
These episodes don't necessarily focus specifically on sports; however, they engage with topical issues of the day to keep the listeners informed and provide critical and thoughtful dialogue.
In the first episode, it is my pleasure to welcome Dr. Samer Abdelnour of The University of Edinburgh Business School.
Dr. Abdelnour provides listeners with a nuanced overview of antisemitism, Palestinian Rights, the IHRA, white supremacy, and settler colonialism. He challenges the listener to engage critically with Canadian and global issues that most have an opinion about, but few have a critical understanding of the historical, political, and social interconnections.
