This week we introduce Susie Smithmyer, who is an Autism Support Teacher in the Altoona Area School District in Pennsylvania. She shared with us about her experiences of teaching communication and life skills to her students with autism. Additionally, she shared her goals of bringing neurodiverse and neurotypical students in her school closer together, especially through the group "Circle of Friends".
