Krystal McCoy did not grow up in a home with domestic abuse. She is not a minority. She does not come from poverty. She’s a well-educated woman. He was a claimed Christian man, and she a Christian woman. She was not who she thought of when she thought of a woman in an abusive relationship, but Krystal is a survivor of domestic violence. Domestic violence does not discriminate, it spans and affects different ages, genders, social economic backgrounds and religions. Today, she shares her story. Krystal is a survivor of domestic violence, not a victim.
