In this episode, I am joined by Emily Abbot. Emily is one of Australia’s first Olympic rhythmic gymnasts who competed in Tokyo this year. In chatting to Emily, you can just tell by the way she talks that she is so passionate and how much she loves her gymnastics. We talk about her journey through sport from how she got into gymnastics to injuries and to achieving her childhood dream of competing at the Olympics. She touches on some great topics of nerves, imposter syndrome and how we both are trying to establish our identity away from our sport. Emily was a ray of sunshine and loved chatting to her so much. I hope you enjoy this chat as much as me!
