Gina Epps taught high school health, physical education and coached basketball for 15 years outside Chicago. When becoming pregnant at 39, her students started to refer to her as Mama Epps and she loved it.
After refusing to teach propaganda to her health students, Mama Epps resigned from education and begun her entrepreneurial journey into cannabis.
Lois Carter, fulfilling a life's passion for service to others, applied this skill set through a 15 year Hospitality Management career. Serving as a brand specialist within the IHG suites, she championed the brands service culture through leadership, mentoring , developing and implementing employee onboarding and training, highlighting the extreme value of the employee experience and its resulting impact to the guest experience and perceived brand value.
After Mama Epps resigned, the two joined forces, merging a lifetime of lessons and skills learned into our cannabis journeys.

What does “Arisha” mean?
Arisha is a new brand created by pairing parts of the name Ariel and Sadie-Sha together. Arisha is a term traditionally associated with cooperative partnering, royalty, and greatness in folklore. In modern terms, Arisha represents cooperative interaction among strong, competent, socially aware women who inspire greatness. And in the larger world Arisha provides positivity, love, and leadership among all socially aware lives.
