Today's episode is with Benjamin Windle is a discussion that is definitely needed. We talk about some of the reasons why people are leaving the church and one of the main reasons is because people have a difficult time understanding why bad things happen to good people. I know I am not the only one who has struggled with this as well. That is why Benjamin wrote his book, Good Catastrophe. He discusses how we can reframe the way we see our problems and that hardship and hope together can do something for us that a problem free life never could. He talks about how a problem free life was not one of God's promises and isn't the pursuit of a Christian. We also talk about how hope and community go hand in hand and that we can become hope ambassadors to those around us. I pray this conversation helps you to better understand how we can get our hope and joy back even in the midst of catastrophe.
