In this powerful episode, I speak with my friend, Jason Mogus, a licensed counselor with the Center for Renewed Minds. Jason shares his harrowing journey through 14 years of addiction, the transformative power of faith, and the importance of addressing trauma to heal and find purpose. We talk about the role the big "C" church needs to play in mental health and addiction discussions. We also discuss the negativity around the word, "should" in recovery and in daily life. His story is a testament to resilience, hope, and the vital role of supportive relationships in recovery.
Side Note: this episode was recorded back in June of 2022
