Today's episode with my new friend, Rachelle Starr. Rachelle talks about how her journey of working with women in the adult entertainment industry started when she was 23 years old, starting with a daily prayer session for 18 months with the people who decided to walk this path with her. When God told her it was time to start going in, the soil was ready for planting. She emphasizes the importance of developing rhythms of prayer, fasting and soaking in the Word of God, not only to discover His plan for your life, but also to discover more about who He is. I pray that this conversation will open your eyes to see what is going on in the world around you and leads you to ask God what He wants for you to do and who He has for you to reach. Rachelle Starr founded Scarlet Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to sharing the hope of Jesus with women in the adult entertainment industry. Rachelle also leads a gospel-centered career development program where women can receive employment and job skills while discovering their God-given gifts and talents. Rachelle and her husband, Josh, have two boys and reside in Louisville, Kentucky.
