I really enjoyed getting to meet and talk with Tarah-Lynn! She has already done so much in her short life and it has all started with her saying "yes" to God. She talks about how she first learned how to separate her mom's testimony from her own and how it helped her lean more into what God wanted to teach her. She talks about her journey from not wanting to wear the school uniform because it wasn't "fashionable" to now working in the fashion industry. She has learned about confidence both from the industry and through growing up with a family who encouraged her to know her true worth. When she talks about confidence, she says, "we can't talk about confidence without talking about where we come from." This conversation is so encouraging and I know it will help you where you are today!!

Tarah-Lynn Saint-Elien is the fashion editor for Cosmopolitan magazine, host of the Dressed for Battle podcast, and founder of Adorned in Armor ministry. She recently was a finalist in the Miss Supernational Haiti beauty pageant and placed first runner up, Miss Elegance, and Miss Woman Empowerment. A love-driven and multi-hyphenated millennial, her desire is to demonstrate how to live purposefully and dream big in unconventional spaces with Christ at the forefront. Crowned Miss Black New Jersey in 2018, Tarah-Lynn is the author of Claim Your Crown, Love Letters from the King and She Reigns.
