Difference between Pain Management and Palliative Care
Palliative care's goal is to improve the quality of life of the patient with chronic/serious illness. Some symptoms that are treated can be nausea, vomiting and depression.
Pain Management refers to treating pain from a chronic or incurable problem. A great example of Pain Management would be the treatment of sickle cell crisis.
