Dr. Joy Nwoke is a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Georgia State University and completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Mercer University College of Pharmacy in Atlanta, GA. Upon completing residency, she would like to obtain a clinical position in conjunction with a school of pharmacy to merge her passion for teaching and delivering quality person-centered care.
In her free time, she shares transparent pharmacy and life experiences through her faith-based blog, rxjoy.co, to encourage and inspire pharmacy students on their journey through the pharmacy profession. When the opportunity arises, you can find her serving under-resourced communities locally and globally or learning a new skill set!
