Launch your family's Independence Day weekend with a bang! Join us as we explore the science of combustion at this family-friendly Independence Day event. We'll celebrate the USA with combustions and explosions every half-hour, All-American treats and patriotic crafts and activities for all ages.

The Amarillo PD and Neighborhood Police Unit invite you to join us at the July 4th party in Hamlet park.
We will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. We will have bounce houses and cornhole and other games.
We will have a dunk tank for kids and adults to dunk an officer.
And Chief Birkenfeld will be there to meet with citizens and answer questions, and hear complaints and just visit with the community.
