A terceira aparição parece que deveu ser em Outubro ou fins de Setembro, porque os 3 Pastorzinhos já não iam passar as horas da sesta em casa. Depois de passarem por uma pequena plantação de oliveiras pertencente aos pais de Lúcia, dando a volta pela encosta do monte pelo lado de Aljustrel. Rezavam o terço e a oração que na primeira aparição o Anjo tinha ensinado. Estando, pois, aí, apareceu aos 3 Pastorzinhos pela terceira vez, trazendo na mão um cálice e sobre ele uma Hóstia, da qual caíam, dentro do cálice, algumas gotas de sangue. Deixando o cálice e a Hóstia suspensos no ar, o Anjo prostrou-se em terra e repetiu três vezes a oração: – Santíssima Trindade, Pai, Filho, Espírito Santo, adoro-Vos profundamente e ofereço-Vos o preciosíssimo Corpo, Sangue, Alma e Divindade de Jesus Cristo, presente em todos os sacrários da terra, em reparação dos ultrajes, sacrilégios e indiferenças com que Ele mesmo é ofendido. E pelos méritos infinitos do Seu Santíssimo Coração e do Coração Imaculado de Maria, peço-Vos a conversão dos pobres pecadores.

And for the infinite merits of Her Most Holy Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I ask You for the conversion of the poor sinners.
