Jesus Cristo tem o poder de perdoar os pecados. Como Deus verdadeiro, tem o poder de perdoar, de curar, de expulsar demônios, de dar a paz e a saúde. No techo do Evangelho de São João Capítulo 8 versículos 3 a 11 vemos: "Os escribas e os fariseus trouxeram-lhe uma mulher que fora apanhada em adultério. Puseram-na no meio da multidão e disseram a Jesus: “Mestre, agora mesmo esta mulher foi apanhada em adultério. Moisés mandou-nos na Lei que apedrejássemos tais mulheres. Que dizes tu sobre isso?”. "Perguntavam-lhe isso, a fim de pô-lo à prova e poderem acusá-lo. Jesus, porém, se inclinou para a frente e escrevia com o dedo na terra. Como eles insistissem, ergueu-se e disse-lhes: “Quem de vós estiver sem pecado, seja o primeiro a lhe atirar uma pedra”. Inclinando-se novamente, escrevia na terra. A essas palavras, sentindo-se acusados pela sua própria consciência, eles se foram retirando um por um, até o último, a começar pelos mais idosos, de sorte que Jesus ficou sozinho, com a mulher diante dele. Então, ele se ergueu e vendo ali apenas a mulher, perguntou-lhe: “Mulher, onde estão os que te acusavam? Ninguém te condenou?”. Respondeu ela: “Ninguém, Senhor”. Disse-lhe então Jesus: “Nem eu te condeno. Vai e não tornes a pecar”. Esta cena maravilhosa coloca no nosso coração uma certeza: Não tenhamos medo, Cristo, misericordioso e libertador é repleto de Misericórdia.
Jesus Christ has the power to forgive sins. As the true God, he has the power to forgive, to heal, to cast out demons, to give peace and health. On the ceiling of the Gospel of St. John Chapter 8 verses 3 to 11 we see: "The scribes and the Pharisees brought him a woman who had been caught in adultery. They put her in the crowd and said to Jesus:" Master, right now this woman was caught in adultery. Moses sent us in the Law to stone such women. What do you say about that? " Jesus, however, leaned forward and wrote with his finger on the ground. As they insisted, he got up and said to them: "Whoever is without sin, be the first to throw a stone at him." Leaning again, he wrote on the ground. At these words, feeling accused by their own conscience, they withdrew one by one, until the last, starting with the elders, so that Jesus was alone, with the woman in front of him. Then he got up and seeing only the woman there, asked him: “Woman, where are those who accused you? Nobody condemned you? ”. She replied, "No one, Lord." Then Jesus said to him: “Nor do I condemn you. Go and do not sin again ”. This wonderful scene places in our hearts a certainty: Let us not be afraid, Christ, merciful and liberating, is filled with Mercy.
