We are back this week with a special bonus episode featuring Bay Area soccer legend Emrah Klimenta! Emrah has been playing professional soccer for over 10 years now and is currently a teammate with our host Max at Oakland Roots. We plan on having Emrah on for a full episode during Season 2, however when he scored a historic game winning goal against NorCal rival Sac Republic this past week, we saw this as an opportunity to try something different and tape a day after recap/reflection. Emrah talks us through his history with his former team and why there was extra motivation heading into the match, a play by play of his thought process during the goal, why he celebrated the way he did, and how he reflected in the moment following the win.
