Pete played over 300 professional Rugby League games during his career, which led him from the depths of playing academy rugby at 20 years-old to the heights of international rugby, scoring a try against the world's best rugby players during a game against New Zealand. More surprisingly, his England call-up came from the man who allowed him to leave Leeds Rhinos - Head Coach Tony Smith.
