Throughout Jesus’ life we see his interactions with people including the act of physically engaging with the least of these. When we examine the benefits of physical touch and the actions of Jesus, it is clear that we are to engage with those that we love. A holy kiss, a hand on the shoulder, or a hug could be the things that changes someone’s day, reminds them that they are loved, and can create a better relationship.
