There is always a time and a place to engage, but there is also a time to be silent. Too many times the person who continues the argument is often going to make themselves look bad. When Jesus was before Pilate, he knew what he was about to accomplish and there was no reason to engage in the argument for his life. In the end, Jesus did what he came here to do and forever changed the world.
