Scripture reading: 2 Corinthians 4:7–5:9
1. Trials and temptations are meant to purify you (for example misunderstandings, persecutions, suffering because you are a Christian , suffering because you're wrongfully judged, chastening)
2. Your flesh will not enjoy the trials, chastening and purification, it will be very painful, but don't complain
3. The end result should be love that suffers long, you think no evil, you're not easily provoked, you can bear and endure all things in joy because you love Jesus
Thought for today: Beloved, as you are tested in the fire, the Master is purifying everything that cannot bring out His image in you.
