Brokenness Precedes Blessing
Smith Wigglesworth Devotional Review
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
—Matthew 16:24
Scripture reading: Matthew 10:16–42
1. It can happen to feel heavy and broken
2. Our helplessness can be touched by the power of God such that we come out shining as “gold refined in the fire” (Rev. 3:18).
3. Before Pentecost could ever happen, Jesus had to be broken
4. Whatever happened to you, brokenness isn't the end, if you take it to God in faith you will receive your blessing
Today's quote : "There is no hope for Pentecost unless we come to God in our brokenness."
—Smith Wigglesworth
