Follow God’s Path
Smith Wigglesworth Devotional Review
The path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
—Proverbs 4:18
Scripture reading: Proverbs 4:5–18
1. Our own plans frequently lead to disaster. Don't try to fulfill a God-given desire by sinning
2. God is so good that He doesn't let His plans of grace to be frustrated by our carnal works. He comes to us and convicts us of our sins
3. The goodness of God draws us to repentance
4. Once you have repented, tests and trials will come. Either you will try to sin your way out of your problems or you will pray and trust God
5. Sin always has consequences, you sow what you reap, but if you repent (change) , obey God and turn to Him sincerely, He can restore to you what you lost due to sin, He can attenuate or even end/cancel the consequences of your sin.
Thought for today: You cannot sing a song of victory in a minor key.
